About Tony

With over three decades of experience in the food industry, Tony is a highly respected leader with a proven track record of managing world class operations. Since February 2018, Tony has served as CEO of Borden Dairy Company, where he is energizing the team with a renewed commitment to “employees-first” management, innovation, and product development.

Before joining Borden, Tony most recently served as CEO of Ready Pac Foods, Inc. While at Ready Pac, Tony’s “people-first” approach helped the company to grow by over 60% and establish a dominant 80% share of the complete meal salad category. At Ready Pac, Tony’s leadership ushered in an era of continued growth and profitability, which attracted great interest and culminated in the sale of the business to Bonduelle in 2017.

Prior to leading Ready Pac, Tony was President of the Nestlé USA Direct Store Delivery Company, which serves Nestlé’s frozen pizza and ice cream businesses and is the world’s largest frozen DSD sales organization.

In 2006, before Nestlé acquired Dreyer’s Ice Cream, Tony joined the company as Executive Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain, with responsibility for manufacturing, procurement and supply chain. He later served as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations, overseeing sales, manufacturing, and distribution.

Before moving to Dreyer’s, Tony began his career at PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay business. He joined Frito-Lay as an associate engineer and, during his 20 years there, progressed through a series of significant leadership roles including Plant Manager, Director of Finance, and Region Vice President for Sales and Distribution in the West. He also led the development of Frito-Lay’s and PepsiCo’s overall Sales and Supply Chain strategy as Vice President of Go-to-Market Strategy.

Tony holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Master of Science degree in Management from Stanford.
